Meg Lipke

Meg Lipke was born in 1969 in Portland, Oregon and was raised in Burlington, Vermont and Cheshire, England. She received her MFA from Cornell University and has taught at The University of Northern Iowa, Cornell University, and Pratt Institute in Brooklyn. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally and has been reviewed in Art in America, the Village Voice, the New York Times and many online publications. Recent solo exhibitions include: Broadway Gallery, Tribeca, NY; Shrine, Los Angeles, CA; DOCUMENT, Chicago, IL; Freight and Volume Gallery, NYC; Lane Meyer Gallery, Denver.

WORKS

Meg and Julia collaborated on “Dream of a Painting in Three Stages” (2019) at The Mark O’Donnell Theater; “Unus Mundi: Survival Ceremonies” (2019) University of Buffalo residency; “Shaking the Trees” (2021) with Nicole Cherubini at the Tang Teaching Museum.
